About Ethio-Eder

Since 1988, Ethio-Eder has been more than an organization — it has been a caring community family. Founded as a non-profit, our purpose is deeply rooted in compassion: to support one another during life’s hardest moments, especially when we must say goodbye to a loved one.

For decades, our members have come together to ease the emotional and financial burden families face during loss. Through an annual membership contribution, we sustain a strong network of support that allows us to provide peace of mind long before a difficult day arrives.

One of Ethio-Eder`s most meaningful achievements is the acquisition of burial plots at Lone Tree Cemetery in Hayward, California. Thanks to the dedication of our community, we have already secured cemetery plots for approximately 70% of our 268 members, and we remain committed to continuing this effort until every member has a designated resting place. This land represents more than a burial site — it is a shared legacy of unity, dignity, and mutual care.

About Lone Tree Cemetery

Lone Tree Cemetery, established in 1868, is one of the oldest and most historic cemeteries in the Hayward area. Its peaceful hillsides and long-standing heritage make it a meaningful and respectful place for remembrance. Ethio-Eder is humbled to be part of this historic resting ground, where families can find comfort, quiet reflection, and a sense of continuity.
